Opening your Account
To open your account with us you will need to lodge 3000LE, to our business account, details will be provided on request. Please note that a sterling transfer will be converted into Egyptian Pounds at the exchange rate of the day by our bank , less any charges made by the banking institutions, and we will advise you of the final sum in Egyptian pounds by email. You can of course, make the initial payment of 3,000 LE on your next visit to Sharm when you sign up to provision of the services you require.
On receipt of your funds, an opening statement will be emailed showing the conversion of your initial payment. An up to date statement showing the charges and your new balance will be emailed to you on request. When your balance falls below 500LE you will be requested to transfer funds to restore the balance to 3000LE. As well as paying in advance for your requested services, you will avoid excessive bank charges.
Keys/Access/Inventory
As we will be accessing your property, we will need at least one full set of keys at the outset. Please also advise your Site Management Office that we are authorised to enter your property and act on your behalf regarding readings and turning on/off water and electricity, and copy this authority to Sharm Holiday Homecare. We urge you to fit new locks, especially if you have just moved into a new development. This ensures that, apart from you and Sharm Holiday Homecare, no other person or persons are in possession of keys to the property. We cannot be held responsible for any losses, if other parties, hold keys to the property. An inventory must be completed and agreed with us, detailing serial numbers of electrical appliances, to be signed and agreed by both parties, prior to commencement of your agreement with us. We can also do this on your behalf for a fee of 250LE.
Responsibility
Our key turning service will check your property as instructed by you and report back to you by email with our findings. We cannot accept any responsibility for any damage or repairs needed to your property, which we report to you. We will however act on your instructions for any repairs, and ensure that any work carried out is charged at local and not tourist rates.
Rent Collection Service
This service relates solely to the collection of rent and lodging the funds to the landlords Sharm bank account. We are not responsible for the actions of your tenants or for any damage they might cause to your property. We will of course, advise you if we have any concerns, in our email confirming receipt of rental payment. In the event that repairs are needed to your property, we will be happy to arrange quotes and take your instructions for any work to be carried out.
Pre-Handover and Snag List Reporting
Our Pre-Handover and Snag List service provides a detailed Report with Picasa Photo Album and details of Snag List. The final decision regarding whether the property is ready for handover will be made by the owner. However, owners should have realistic expectations
regarding the overall finish, as building standards in Sharm are not always what you may have come to expect. Please note that this service is provided on a “Best Endeavours” basis, as we cannot guarantee that the developer will act on the snags we identify. We suggest you arrange this service at least 4 weeks before you are due to come to Sharm for handover.
Collection to/from Airport
As you are no doubt aware, delays on charter flights sometimes occur. We therefore ask that you text us just before you take off from your UK airport and if possible give an estimated time of arrival. We will also need your departure date and time, airline and flight number when you book this service. Pick up time for your return flight will be 2 hours before your departure time.
Insurances/Liability
Please note that we cannot accept liability for any accidents or injuries howsoever caused, as a consequence of an introduction by us, to any other third party. We strongly urge you to ensure you have adequate insurances in place to cover any eventuality.
